In 1995, Shanghai Xingchang Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. was established and is one of the earliest large-scale enterprises engaged in activated carbon production in China.

Sino Japanese cooperation

From 2003 to now

Collaborating with Japanese company Weizhisu to jointly develop high-purity and high adsorption water vapor activated carbon.
The company has over 20 years of experience in cooperating with world-renowned enterprises and has established a standardized experimental center. It strictly follows Chinese national standards, Chinese pharmacopoeia, Japanese JIS/JWWA standards, and American ASTM standards for testing, and has strong production and research and development capabilities

Subsidiaries established

Fujian Xingchang Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 and is located in Zidong Industrial Park, Shaowu City, Fujian Province, covering an area of approximately 40000 square meters.
In 2006, a complete set of Japanese technology, processes, and equipment were introduced. In 2008, the 767-AW series of activated carbon products were successfully developed, breaking the current situation of relying solely on imports for high-performance and high-quality carbon in China. They were welcomed by the domestic market, especially pharmaceutical companies.

Becoming a partner of the Shanghai World Expo

Shanghai Xingchang has become the designated supplier of activated carbon for water treatment within the Shanghai World Expo Park. For enterprises, it is an honor and opportunity, as well as an important platform to showcase their own strength and social responsibility. At the same time, it also provides important support and guarantees for the successful hosting of the World Expo.

Developed "coconut shell activated carbon" 

Coconut shell activated carbon is made from high-quality coconut shell as raw material, refined and processed through multiple processes such as carbonization and activation. It has the characteristics of wide particle range, large specific surface area, strong adsorption performance, high mechanical strength, low impurity content, and fast filtration speed. It is mainly used in fields such as water treatment, air purification, precious metal extraction, solvent recovery, and catalyst carrier.

Developed "ultrapure spherical carbon"

After oral administration, spherical activated carbon adsorbs metabolic products and toxins from the gastrointestinal tract through its nanoscale pores, and is excreted from the body: pure physical adsorption, clear mechanism of action, minimal interaction with other drugs, and does not affect the absorption and metabolism of nutrients such as starch and fat. The spherical pellets are designed to be less prone to retention in the body, with mild side effects such as constipation, and high safety.

Technological upgrades and factory expansion
